• Jackson to Produce The Hobbit

After the legal issues between New Line Cinema and Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson cast a Sauron-worthy darkness over the possibility of his involvement in the prequel story of Bilbo Baggins’s Ring quest, I am relieved to read that not only have the two sides settled their differences, Jackson has agreed to produce the Hobbit movie and its sequel. That means 2 more awesome installments of this landmark movie series (and makes the possible mega-DVD set that I’ve been waiting for that much farther away, but that much more to anticipate — geek! (I know)). Now if they can only persuade Jackson to get back in that director’s chair, all will be right with Middle Earth.
